Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is out this month. March 2016 seemed so far off when this film started work, but now it's here, and Entertainment Weekly is celebrating the release month for the film with two - naturally competing - covers.
The covers show extreme close-ups of Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in character as Superman and Batman, respectively. The covers also tease the interior stories, with headlines like:
"The Dark Knight (Or The Man of Steel on his cover) Faces His Ultimate Foe... Will He Survive?"
"Wonder Woman's Covert Mission"
"Lex Luthor's Killing Spree"
"The Flash's Terrifying Vision"
"And you'll never believe who's been cut from the movie!"
With the covers released, EW.com teased the interviews inside, as well. Affleck talks to the magazine about "projecting his own sense of failure, his own sense of disillusionment, his own cynicism onto Superman." Cavill, meanwhile, says that Superman "doesn't want to hurt anyone, he doesn't want to scare anyone and in that you can take advantage of him." He underlines the amateur status of Superman, compared to the seasoned and well-prepared Batman.
Check out the full covers below and stay tuned for more from these cover stories soon.
