Captain America Meet The Winter Soldier Video Released

Marvel Studios has released a new "Meet the Winter Soldier" video in anticipation of the upcoming film, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." If you were still wondering if Marvel was trying, even a little, to keep The Winter Soldier's identity a secret, then this video will definitely put that to rest. It introduces the character to fans not familiar with his history from the comics, explaining that the Winter Soldier is Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan), Cap's lost friend from World War II. Producer Kevin Feige references Ed Brubaker's Captain America story that reintroduced Barnes as the Winter Soldier as one of the best Captain America stories of the past twenty years. In "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and battles a new threat from old history: the Soviet agent known as the Winter Soldier. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" comes to theaters April 4, 2014.
