Transformers: Age of Extinction - New MTV Movie Awards Spot Released Online

Tonight as star Mark Wahlberg was given an MTV Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards show, his newest film -- Transformers: Age of Extinction -- debuted an action-packed new TV spot with quite a bit of Grimlock. Other than that, it's not a lot of new footage; mostly it revolves around Wahlberg's character, Optimus Prime and features a voice over from Kelsey Grammer, who has delivered that same "the age of the Transformers is over" message in every trailer so far. You can check it out below. Transformers: Age of Extinction is due in theaters on June 27.

Starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, Transformers: Age of Extinction has been expected to be the final film in the franchise directed by Michael Bay before he makes way for another filmmaker to take the reins of what's being described as the second Transformers trilogy. Recently, he's hinted that he may direct at least one more -- if not both -- installments of the new trilogy, as well.
