Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Billboard Gets An Agent Coulson Addition

It seems that Marvel Studios' plans for their mysterious Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. billboards in Los Angeles has come to fruition.

The billboards originally popped up around the city, showing only strange alien writing. The billboards have since been completed with Director Phil Coulson added in and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. logo and Season 2 airdate. The above photo was uploaded to Facebook by Clark Gregg, who plays Coulson, with the simple status "Uh-oh..."

For viewers who watched the first season of the show to completion, this is all old news. The billboard essentially recreates the final scene of the season. For potential new viewers, or those who may have bailed, the two-part advertisement serves as a way of generating curiosity about what exactly is going on with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 premieres September 28 on ABC.
