Arrow: First Look at Megalyn Echikunwoke As Vixen in Live Action

Vixen star Megalyn Echikunwoke will appear on the episode of Arrow currently being filmed in Vancouver.

Titled "Taken," the episode is the fifteenth of Arrow's fourth season, and we know Vixen is there because series star Stephen Amell just tweeted an image of himself and Echikunwoke side by side; you don't see very much of her costume, but from the coloring of her collar, it looks like she's in wardrobe. Amell is between takes with his Green Arrow eye makeup still on.

"I think if it does end up being live action in any way, it's really cool that I have this warm-up into the character and I really can create my own version of Vixen," Echikunwoke told ComicBook.com of Vixen, the animated, CW Seed-produced series which just got a second season.

A live-action appearance for the character, also played by Echikunwoke, was confirmed back in December.

Arrow returns for its midseason premiere tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. Vixen's series will likely return during the summer hiatus for Arrow and The Flash. In its first season, Vixen featured voice talent from both series as Green Arrow, The Flash, Cisco Ramon and more made appearances.
