EXCLUSIVE Star Wars: Vader Down #1 Variant Covers

Marvel Comics has provided ComicBook.com with an exclusive first look at several variant covers for Star Wars: Vader Down #1, kicking off the first major Marvel Comics Star Wars crossover event.

Vader Down sees Darth Vader crash landing alone on a planet. When the Rebellion learns of it, they decide they can't pass up and opportunity to take out the Emperor's right hand. What ensues is a standoff between the lone Sith Lord and an entire Rebel fleet, a story which continues in the pages of Marvel's Star Wars and Darth Vader comics.

Francesco Fracavilla provides the Gamestop exclusive cover. The color version will be available in stores, but the black and white version is available exclusively through Gamestop's rewards program.

The Scholastic Reading Club Variant by Emma Luppacchino will be available exclusively through in-classroom orders from Scholastic Reading Club (Scholastic.com/ReadingClub) beginning in January's club flyer (grades 6–12). Check with your child's teacher to place your order.

Phil Noto's variant for Reed Exhibitions will be available exclusively at Vienna Comic Con.
