For an assassin, the battle against the Templars is one that will never stop, and fans will get to see a fresh angle on that ongoing conflict in a new comic series titled Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants - Locus.

The new series is based on the upcoming young adult novel series, Last Descendants, which is being written by Matthew J. Kirby. The comic side of things will be written by the Eisner-nominated Ian Edginton (X-Force, War of the Worlds) and drawn by artist Caspar Wijngaard (Limbo). While the storyline will focus on a new character named Sean, once you enter the Animus you'll recognize the setting quickly, as Locus will take place in Victorian London, the setting of the most recent Assassin's Creed game Syndicate.

Sean is a present day teen who gets embroiled in the Assassins and Templar conflict. His ancestor turns out to be an Assassin named Tommy Greyling, who is in the midst of discovering a secret that could change the world.

The book will be split into four parts, and the first issue will launch with six variant covers by Caspar Wijngaard (Cover A), Valeria Favoccia (Cover B), Ian Culbard (Cover C), Verity Glass (Cover D), with Cover E being the cover to Kirby's novel, and Cover F being a blank sketch cover.

Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants - Locus will launch on digital platforms and in stores on September 21st, and joins Titan's other series in the universe, including Assassin's Creed: Assassins and Assassin's Creed: Templars.
