Dragon Ball Super Synopsis Confirms [SPOILER'S] Annihilation

The Tournament of Power has only just started on Dragon Ball Super, but Zen-Oh isn't playing around. The multiverses have been set loose on one another as each universe fights for their home's survival. But, according to a new synopsis, the show will bid farewell to its first universe in just a couple of weeks.

The most recent issue of TV Guide in Japan has just given fans the first synopsis for Dragon Ball Super's 99th episode. You can read the summary of "Show It Off! Krillin's Reserves Of Strength!!" below:

"As one universe is quickly annihilated, the Omni-Kings rejoice while all others are aghast. This causes Vegeta to lose his patience and launch an assault on the Universe 6 fighters, while Goku and the others spring into action too. Gohan and the rest go into battle formation and watch the progress of the fight."

Judging by the synopsis, Zen-Oh is about to make good on his promise to destroy any universe that gets knocked out of the Tournament of Power. The juvenile god will celebrate the game's turnout, but the rest of the multiverse will witness firsthand just how deadly the omnipotent deity can be. As such, Vegeta will ramp up his attacks on Universe 6 in a bid to protect his family back on Earth, and Krillin will also let out his reserved powers as well.

As for which universe will be taken out first, there is no telling, but fans do have a guess. Universe 9 is the most likely suspect to be annihilated as the gang will all team up against Goku in Dragon Ball Super's 98th episode. If the Saiyan manages to ring-out all the fighters in a single go, the universe will be taken out of the Tournament and left to Zen-Oh's care. There's also the suspicious fact that Dragon Ball Super's opening fails to highlight Universe 9 when it shows all of the 'Universal Survival' fighters in sequence. So, if you have any attachment to the Universe 9 underdogs, you will want to carry a few tissues when the anime airs on July 16th.

But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?
