Dragon Ball Super Is Probably About To Kill Off [SPOILER]

Dragon Ball Super is steadily ramping up for some 'Universal Survival' action, but it looks like the anime may kill off some characters before the saga gets into the swing. If you are caught up with Dragon Ball, then you know Goku and Freeza were ambushed in the anime's latest episode. The pair found themselves surrounded by dozens of mysterious assassins who had been sent to off Freeza. And, now, it looks like the event may just cause the destruction of an entire universe.

Dragon Ball Super's 'Universal Survival' arc will soon see most of the multiverse go head-to-head to protect their homes. Universes 7 and 11 have already been put to the test in exhibition rounds, but the arc's other universes have yet to prove their worth. Universe 9 has done little in terms of narrative to make it standout, but the universe's God of Destruction just put a huge target on its back.

The assassins who were sent to off Freeza were commanded by none other than Sidra, Universe 11's God of Destruction. The hot-headed deity wanted Freeza out of the tournament as he'd heard horrifying tales of the tyrant's power. The universe's Kai did little to stop Sidra from doing as he pleased, and it won't take long for the Omni-King to discover what has taken place.

If Universe 9 winds up being disposable, fans could very well see the Omni-King bring down punishment on Sidra by wiping his universe. The all-powerful being would be forced to erase Sidra if he got ride of the God of Destruction's universe. The Omni-King has destroyed universes for much less than what Sidra has done, and the Omni-King will not be pleased that his subordinate threatened his friend Goku.

When the 'Universal Survival' arc was first released, fans knew that at least one universe would be destroyed. The saga has threatened to erase all but one of its multiverse contenders, but Universe 9 may become the scapegoat which proves how serious the Tournament of Power is. As for whether the Omni-King may bring back Universe 9 should it be erased, fans will have to see. Goku currently has his button which can all the Omni-King at will, so all the Saiyan needs to do is summon the deity now that Sidra has poked his head into business which isn't his own. And, if the hero does that, then Universe 9 can all but kiss itself goodbye.

The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super's current saga can be read here:

"According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?"
