Today, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced the start date for Diablo 4 Season 1. Titled the Season of the Malignant, players will be able to start hopping in on July 20. However, that's not the only thing for Diablo 4 players to look forward to. The dev team also dropped a new patch today, which includes a few major fixes for loot farming. While not as all-encompassing as Patch 1.0.3, this patch finally makes it to where Helltide chests will drop Unique items. It's something players have been asking for and opens up several new avenues for loot farming.

Of course, that's not all. Several bosses have seen their health pools and damage nerfed significantly, and the cap for crafting materials has increased from 9,999 to 99,999, making stocking up more user-friendly. The new patch also includes all kinds of gameplay fixes that address issues from basically every class. There are also several fixes for different Elixirs and Glyphs, as well as some important quest and dungeon fixes. On top of all that, there's the usual smattering of various miscellaneous fixes that will undoubtedly help the players being affected by them.
