Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Releases Major Update, Full Patch Notes Detailed

04/20/2023 07:24 am EDT

Nintendo has released a new update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which allows players to catch two Paradox Pokemon added in February. Late last night, Nintendo pushed the new update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which fixes an issue involving Tera Raid Battles surrounding Walking Wake and Iron Leaves. The bug kept some players from catching either Pokemon and instead gave them an unhatchable egg – this was fixed in the most recent update and provides players with a chance to catch both Pokemon. Both Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will be returning in raids starting on May 1st.

Other fixes to the game include a patch to fix the game crashing when it pairs with a Pokemon Go account (which may be tied to a disastrous bug that corrupts save files) and some battle fixes. You can check out the full patch list below:

Support for Trainers Who Caught an Egg Instead of Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in Tera Raid Battles

Trainers who caught an Egg instead of Walking Wake or Iron Leaves in a Tera Raid Battle before updating to version 1.2.0 of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet were affected by a bug that prevented them from catching either of these Pokémon.

This bug has been fixed, and Trainers who caught such Eggs instead of Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will now be able to catch these Pokémon.

Feature Adjustments

A change has been made to the deadline for entries for Friendly Competitions, which are found in the Online Competitions section of the Battle Stadium.
