Anthony Mackie of Captain America: Civil War is really flying high with not only his character but also with his hype for the film.

Mackie, the man charged with bringing Sam Wilson's The Falcon to life on the big screen, thinks that this particular Marvel movie tops any of its predecessors.

"It'll be very different because… I feel the best Marvel movies thus far have been Winter Soldier and Iron Man," Mackie explained to IGN. "And I think this movie far surpasses those two movies. I think the Russo brothers and Marvel have done a very good job with upping the ante every movie. And this one definitely does not fail to live up to that."

Marvel Studios has certainly upped the ante with Civil War. They've basically gone all-in with the cast their hurling into the mix, even managing to have Robert Downey Jr. to reprise his role as Tony Stark for a sixth time as more than a cameo. That means more fun for Mackie, too."

"It's dope man – I get to hang out with Robert Downey Jr. I love it," Mackie says. "I love it. I get to eat lunch with him. And talk to him. And crack jokes with him. And he gives me his old clothes so it's awesome."

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016.
