The Martian Trailer Officially Released

20th Century Fox has officially released the first trailer for Ridley Scott's latest science fiction film The Martian.

During a manned mission to Mars, a fierce dust storm forces the crew to abandon their mission and to evacuate the Red Planet as soon as possible. In the mad scramble astronaut Mark Watney is left behind as he is presumed dead. Can Watney survive on Mars with limited resources and with no way of signaling to Earth that he is alive?

During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. The Martian will land in theaters November 25, 2015.
