The Walking Dead: Negan Reveals Classic Comic Look In Midseason Finale

WARNING: Spoilers Ahead For The Walking Dead's Newest Episode, 'Sing Me A Song'!

The latest episode of The Walking Dead was a big one for fans of the show, as many of the major storylines were featured at the same time. The show spent a couple of weeks on smaller epiodes, but 'Sing Me A Song' started bringing a lot of things back together.

This episode was also a big deal for comic fans, as many of the classic stories have finally come to life. Negan burning a man's face, then showing up to Alexandria, were both featured pieces in the comic storylines. Carl and Negan's relationship is a carbon copy of the comics, and many of their lines were taken straight from the source material.

To compound on those parallels, next week will take things a step further. Negan, who has become a staple of The Walking Dead series, is finally donning his classic look. If you watched the preview for next week's episode, you know exactly what this means.

Negan is finally shaving his beard.

In the comics, Negan is famously clean-shaven. He wants to portray some professionalism, so he keeps his face clean.

Fans of the comics had been wondering why Negan had a full beard when he appeared on the show, and that was due to Jeffrey Dean Morgan's role on The Good Wife. When he first appeared on The Walking Dead, he was still filming his last show, so he couldn't alter his look.

Are you excited to see Negan have his classic look on TV? All photos from next week's preview containing Negan can be found in the gallery below!
