Travis Tope In Talks For Independence Day 2

Boardwalk Empire's Travis Tope is in talks to join the cast of Independence Day 2, according to TheWrap.

The actor, who has also appeared in Men, Women and Children and NCIS: Los Angeles, will reportedly play a character named Charlie, about whom no other details are yet known.

Original Independence Day stars Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullman and Jeff Goldblum will return, joined by Liam Hemsworth as Pullman's son-in-law and Jessie Usher as Fox's son.

The film, reportedly titled ID Forever Part 1, will be in theaters on June 24, 2016.
