Move out of the way Christopher Nolan, Furious 7 has topped The Dark Knight to become the 19th highest grossing film of all-time.

Universal's box office powerhouse pulled in another $8M on Friday at the North American box office, and it will win the weekend with $26M to $28M. Friday's numbers, domestic and international, helped push Furious 7's worldwide box office total ($1,008.9B) past 2008's The Dark Knight. Who's Batman now?

If the weekend estimates are spot on, the latest installment in the Fast and Furious movie franchise will also top Peter Jackson's fantasy-adventure film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ($1,017B) for 18th place all-time.

Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell. The film was written by Chris Morgan.

Furious 7 is now playing!
