Today is Michael Shannon's birthday.

A notable movie actor, Shannon is best known to comic book fans as General Zod. As the Kryptonian villain in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, Shannon's Zod battled Henry Cavill's Superman as his main nemesis. Though Superman killed Zod in Man of Steel, trailers from Batman V.
