Andrew Lincoln On What's Next Following The Walking Dead Cliffhanger

The Walking Dead returned tonight and left us hungrier than we were 90-minutes ago to see what we'll happen next with Rick and the rest of our survivors.

Be warned, spoilers follow if you have not yet watched the season six premiere of The Walking Dead.

Those who tuned in tonight know that Rick's master plan to move the massive horde of walkers away from Alexandria didn't quite go the way he imagined. Everything went off course when a horn sounded from their Alexandria home or at least the direction of it. We had the chance to ask Lincoln what's going through Rick's mind at that exact moment and what his next move will be.

"I think that the priority is to try and determine what the sound is," Lincoln explained. "I think his major priority is to try and work out how they're gonna lead this 20,000 horde back onto the road. That's no small feat. There are many things going through his head but the initial thing is let's regroup, let's see what we can do, let's make a plan, very quickly."

"Rest assured, Rick Grimes is a man with a plan and he likes making them," Lincoln told us. "They sometimes go completely wrong. He's not ashamed of his plan making. There will be something up his sleeve."

Let's hope there's something up Rick's sleeve or else all of Alexandria is in jeopardy. We'll see what he's got in store next week when The Walking Dead's next episode airs at 9 PM EST on AMC.
