Batman V Superman NFL TV Spot Shows Where "Do You Bleed?" Comes From

In a post tagged for the NFL Wildcard game, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder has taken to Twitter to give fans a first look at a new TV spot that finally gives context to one of the most quotable lines of the movie thus far.

"Tell me, do you bleed?" Batman asked Superman in a voiceover in the very first teaser for the film, adding, "You will."

The scene hasn't been revisited yet -- until now, when we see it in the context of the film and apparently in full.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.

  1. I can't be the only one who started chuckling when the Batmobile LITERALLY bounced off Superman without him even flinching, right?

  2. I love that Superman didn't even flinch, and Bats, with no hesitation, threatens the person who just wrecked his car without doing anything. This was so bad ass and so in-character. This is definitely their first encounter and confirms that Reddit review was BS.

That was the whole purpose of the scene. So, no.

Superman's suit colors look brighter. That should please the kind of people who complained the colors were too muted in the last movie.

And people have the nerve to say this movie will have no humor at all.
