It's a little late for a Back to the Future II tie-in product, but that's not stopping DeLorean Motors. After 35 years, the DeLorean is making a comeback, going back into production.

And no, this isn't going to be a brand-new car giving a modern look to the classic: they're going back into production of the 1982 DeLorean.

"It's fantastic. It's a game-changer for us. We've been wantin this to happen," CEO Stephen Wynne in Humble, TX told KPRC. Wynne and DeLorean Motors will manufacture the cars on American Soil for the first time, and plans to build about 300 cars, hoping to retail them at $100,000.

So, if you've been dreaming since 1985 to own a DeLorean of your own, you now have 300 new chances, or you will in about a year, when Wynne hopes to go into production.
