And the Academy Award for Best Marketing goes to... Deadpool!
After the R-rated superhero film pulled in $260 million at the worldwide box office, you would think 20th Century Fox's marketing department would take a well-deserved rest, but they are still hard at work.
Here's their latest offering, a cool 360-degree video with multiple Deadpools in a pub. Pan in any direction to see all of them acting goofy: one is cutting fruit garnishes with a sword, one is scratching his butt and preparing to relieve himself, one is dancing on the bartop, one is shooting pool, one is passed-out drunk, and... you can have fun spotting the rest.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
