Most of us have to lose ourselves in video games or superhero films to get a sense of what it would be like to have powers like Spider-Man, Magneto, or Iceman. For inventive builder Colin Furze, that just simply isn't good enough.

Furze has taken on several X-Men, replicating the powers of Wolverine, Magneto, and Pyro in previous builds, but now he's set his sights on fan favorite X-Man Iceman, and the results are impressive.

He took liquid nitrogen, stored it in a portable backpack made out of thermos flasks, and created an adapter for the top of the containers that would allow air in, pushing the liquid nitrogen down on one side and forcing it out into a tube. The tube was connected to a wrist spray unit, and thus we get our own version of Iceman.

The fact that he makes all this stuff actually function is impressive enough, but as he demonstrates in the video, it definitely freezes everything from plant life to a cup of water. Granted, in the cup demonstration, half of the water ends up on the outside of the cup, but what is in there is certainly frozen.

While you might not be able to create ice warriors to fight on your behalf or traverse to your next appointment on an ice slide, this is about as close as one can get to actually feeling like Iceman. You can see his results video above, and you can view the build itself here.
