Vin Diesel Responds to The Rock's Rant, Promises to Tell Fans 'Everything'

The Rock may want to watch his back.

His rant about his Fast 8 co-stars didn't go unnoticed by the men who acted and produced alongside him in the franchise and now Vin Diesel has teased a response of his own.

In a video posted to his Instagram, the Fast & Furious veteran added a touch of drama when he promised to tell fans "everything," seeming to allude to the rumored feud between him and Dwayne Johnson.

Diesel captioned the video, "So much has gone in this year. I can't believe I wrapped two back to back pictures I both starred in and produced. Now I get to return to my family, my life... To me."

It started out with him reflecting on the past year and talking about his daughter Pauline, who he named after his late friend and co-star Paul Walker.

"After being on set since literally Christmas to finally, finally, finally to come home," the action star shared, "and to learn the little angel [daughter Pauline] learned a new word. I'm going to have to share it with you, it's more important than anything."

"Her new word kind of describes my spirit and my soul, and most people who stay positive. The new word is 'happy,'" he continued. "When I heard her say 'happy,' I just lit up in ways I can't even describe."

Cute, right?

But here's where it gets good.

The seasoned actor changed tones and whispered dramatically, "So give me a second and I will tell you everything. Everything."

It seems safe to assume he isn't talking about sweet moments with his baby girl anymore.

There was no way the xXx star was going to stay silent after Johnson publicly slammed his co-stars for being "chickensh-t" "candy a--es."

Even if Johnson did clarify his post with a follow-up, which had a slightly more upbeat tone.

"You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company," he wrote. "And like with any team - that's a family - there's gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it. At the end of the day me and #F8 co-stars all agree on the most important thing: Delivering an incredible movie to the world."
