In anticipation of Fear the Walking Dead's return this Sunday, ComicBook.com has an exclusive clip from the upcoming second half of the zombie drama's second season.

The new clip is extremely telling of the upcoming moments for Nick. We lost saw the recovering junkie parting ways with his mother and electing to walk among the undead at the burning Abigail Estate to wrap up the first half of the season. Now, he looks to be in a good bit of trouble having a severe injury to his leg and a horde of zombies in his face.

Interestingly, at the end of the clip, we see Nick start to pray. It would appear that Celia's methods have rubbed off in him in more ways than we may have thought, turning him into a religious young man.

"To me, we're going back to old school," Ofelia actress Mercedes Mason tells ComicBook.com of the groups split heading into Season 2B. "That means, you put out any kind of general symbols that anyone can see. You leave lights on in a dark city. You set up flares if you can find them. You hang banners or you create smoke fires like the Native Americans. Anything that will get attention. The problem is you can't only get the attention of one person, you get the attention of everyone and as we know we the apocalypse, the walkers aren't even the ones we should fear. It should be humans. The walkers, we know exactly what they want. They have a need to feed. Humans, we have no idea what they want from us. So, it's such a Catch-22. Trying to find your loved ones is impossible. It's a needle in a haystack but we're human beings and I think that ultimately, while we're on land, is what's going to get us in trouble. It's searching for our loved ones."
