When you think of superhero theme songs, a few come to mind immediately. From Teen Titans to The Incredible Hulk, heroes have been gifted with stunning compositions for all their television pursuits - but the theme songs for Spider-Man stand above the rest. The 60s animated series churned out one of the most iconic theme songs of all-time, and Sam Rami's Spider-Man trilogy also features an impressive composition. And, now, two popular musicians have taken the the theatrical track and made an amazing cover of it.

Lindsey Stirling and Lang Lang teamed up to cover Danny Elfman's swelling theme song for Spider-Man in a recent video titled "Spider-Man Theme." The clip stands at over four minutes and was directed by Joe Sill. Shot in black and white, the gorgeous cover pays homage to Elfman's unforgettable theme as the track's tempo rises and falls. The video even nods towards Spider-Man's beloved cartoon intro as Lang can be heard playing a few notes from the theme before Stirling and he begin Elfman's number.

If you're interested in buying the track, then cover is available for purchase online right now. The song is included on Lang Lang's upcoming album, New York Rhapsody, and a physical copy of the item will be released on September 16. As for Stirling, she recently released her third studio album Brave Enough to critical acclaim and is prepping for an upcoming tour.

For those of you who think Stirling looks familiar, it's likely because you've seen her before. The violinist is one of the most popular musicians on Youtube with over eight million subscribers. She reached international audiences four years ago when she posted a video titled "Cystallize" that found her playing an EDM-inspired violin track. The video has been viewed over 150 million times, and Stirling has also uploaded several other geek-friendly tracks. The musician has covered music from games like Skyrim and films such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and and more.

As for Elfman, his score for Spider-Man isn't the only notable work he's produced. The composer has a very close relationship with Tim Burton and has produced numerous tracks for his films. In 1989, Elfman scored Batman and returned to create a track for Batman Returns in 1992.
