The Walking Dead's Five Funniest Moments
The Walking Dead is not a show that's known for making people laugh. Typically, the AMC series is [...]
Rick's CD
In Season 6, Rick and Daryl needed a little bro-time. They got it in the form of a scavenger hunt (which ran them into Jesus, but we'll get to that later).
The two characters rolled out of Alexandria in a Chrysler 300C and had a long ride ahead of them. Rick decided it was time for some country jams. "Please, don't," Daryl said.
Rick went ahead and put his CD in and snapped his fingers to the beat of his horrible music. It was a rare moment of levity of weeks of the two characters being separated.
prevnextProtein Bar
The mystery of Morgan's protein bar was a joke which turned out to last across an entire season.
In Season 3, Rick, Michonne, and Carl ran into an absolutely insane Morgan. Years later, they would meet again but Morgan remembered one very particular thing about their encounter.
"Did you take my peanut butter bar?" Morgan asked Michonne in Season 6.
Michonne denied it. Later in the season, prior to splitting up and meeting Negan, Rick told Morgan, "Michonne did take your protein bar."
"I know," Morgan said.
prevnextAll of Abraham's Lines
Just about everything Abraham said in his time on The Walking Dead was laugh worthy.
"You'd have better luck picking up a turd by it's clean end!"
"Simply put, there's a vast ocean of s–t you people don't know s–t about. Rick knows every fine grain of said s–t, and then some."
"I'll let you shave me down, dolphin smooth."
"Who's Deanna?"
"Mother dick!"
"I don't give a monkey's left nut!"
"I've been to 8 county fairs and a goat rodeo but I've never seen anything like that."
"I don't give two short and curly's what it looks like."
"Suck... My... Nuts..."
Abraham, come back to us...
prevnextSpaghetti
Negan has had some lines which were (absolutely not!) hilarious. Often times, we don't want to laugh at them because he is belittling our beloved Alexandria bunch or calling Olivia fat but sometimes we just can't help ourselves.
Still, his most iconic line might just have come in the Season 7 midseason finale.
"Your kid, he hid in one of my trucks and machined gunned a bunch of my men down!" Negan said. "And I brought him home, safe and sound! And, I fed him spaghetti!"
A true man of his word, Negan really did feed Carl some spaghetti at Rick's own dinner table.
prevnextJesus' Introduction
Daryl's nightmare car ride of listening to Rick's choice in music was only made worse when the two characters ran into Jesus.
The man who hails from the Hilltop gave Rick and Daryl a real run for their money when he was introduced late in Season 6, literally. He hijacked their truck and ended up running around in a field as Daryl gave chase on foot.
Ultimately, the truck full of supplies ended up in a lake and Jesus was unconscious but at least the audience got a few good laughs from the chase.
