Fear the Walking Dead is set to air the third episode of its third season on Sunday night, which will serve as the follow-up to a shocking premiere a week ago.
In the aftermath of Travis' death, the group will explore their new home at the Broke Jaw Ranch, with the conflicted Otto family running the place. While some characters are looking to accept this place as their new home, others are reluctant to dish out any new trust at all.
Episode 3x03 is titled, "Teotwawki," and promises to put the core group into serious danger. Let's take a look at who is in danger and who is safe...
Madison- Safe. Madison is reeling from the loss of Travis but is ready to do whatever it takes to survive and protect her family. She is reluctant to trust strangers, which is smart in this world.
Alicia- Safe. Alicia has been able to carry herself from her pre-apocalyptic days and has recently learned that the apocalypse is no place for immature decisions. She will continue to evolve and serve as a leader in her family.
Nick- Safe. Nick might act a bit too quickly but he tends to make good decisions when it really counts. Of course, La Colonia would disagree, but his feud with Troy is really the only thing between him and a possible happy ending.
Strand- Danger. Last seen leaving the hotel, Strand's reunion with his ole pre-apocalyptic pal Dante is not going to be as pleasant as the con man might have hoped.
Luciana- Safe. While Luciana's wound from the Season 2 finale will wear her down, it will also keep her away from any dangerous action.
Ofelia- Danger. Ofelia's fate is completely ambiguous after being taken by Jeremiah Otto in the Season 2 finale.
Jeremiah Otto- Safe. The leader of Broke Jaw Ranch has plenty of people who are grateful for his protection and sanctuary. He's not going anywhere (yet).
Troy Otto- Safe. Sadly, the people like Troy are the ones who survive in the apocalyptic scenarios. If he can hold off on attacking the good guys for some amount of time, Troy's heart will continue to beat.
Jake Otto- Danger. Serving as the moral compass of a series never ends well, because it always ends.
Fear the Walking Dead's third season will see a female villain rising into power, as executive producer Dave Erickson pointed out to ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview on After the Dead following the Season 2 finale.
A wholly original companion series to The Walking Dead, the #1 show on television among adults 18-49 for the last five years, "Fear the Walking Dead" explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the eyes of a fractured family.
