Marvel Comics Brings Back The New Universe

Do you long for the days of Kickers, Inc. and Spitfire and the Troubleshooters? Well, then you're in luck, because Marvel Comics is bringing back the New Universe as part of Marvel NOW! Marvel Comics has released a teaser and the cover for Avengers #9. The cover features the Star Brand, and the teaser text calls out the "New Universe." Here's the rest of the teaser text. • Watch as the most dangerous weapon in the Universe is unleashed. • Two Universal SYSTEMS collide. • What good is a White Event if only leads to the destruction of the planet it was meant to transform? Avengers #9 is written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Dustin Weaver. In addition to the New Universe cover, there will also be a "Many Armors Of Iron Man" variant cover by Joe Quinones. Avengers #9 is set to be released in April 2013.
