Showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed a couple weeks ago that Episode 1 of The Walking Dead Season 4 had wrapped. Thanks to Norman Reedus we also know that Episode 2 has also finished shooting, and the cast and crew have just started filming Episode 3. Reedus also teased that viewers were going to freak out over Episode 3.
Now comes some scoop on Episode 4 of The Walking Dead Season 4. According to TVLine, “Next season’s fourth episode is titled ‘Indifference’ and will introduce us to two new survivors, Jack and Erin. Both are in their 20s and described as easygoing and ‘extremely thin.’ Jack’s a bit of a joker, while Erin walks through life with rose-colored glasses.”
The description doesn’t sound like anyone that jumps out at us as being based on any of the comic book characters. Could they be brand new characters created just for the show? Also, their personalities don’t sound like the type that would last for long in a zombie apocalypse, so we’re doubtful that they will become series regulars.
The Walking Dead Season 4 airs on AMC in the fall.
