Putting Wonder Woman In Batman Vs. Superman Is Something Warner Bros. Has Thought About

One of the rumors that we listed on our recent top five craziest Batman Vs. Superman rumors is the rumor that Wonder Woman will also appear in the film. The entire rumor appears to be based on nothing more substantive than Warner Bros. putting out a casting call for a tall woman. However, Variety got the opportunity to put the question directly to Warner Bros.' president of creative development Greg Silverman, who rather artfully didn't actually reveal anything beyond that Warner Bros. has thought about it. "We have been doing a lot of thinking for years about how to best use all those characters and we love them," said Silverman. "Wonder Woman is an amazing character. I think it's a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero." When Variety pressed whether than meant she was going to get her own separate movie or be part of Batman Vs. Superman, Silverman replied, "We are taking it all very seriously and are trying to do a plan that's respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories as best they can. So everything that has been speculated are things that we've thought about."
