Marvel Studios Phase 3 Plans Reportedly Revealed

There have been lots of rumors about which movies will be part of Marvel Studios Phase 3. Recent reports have claimed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and a Black Widow movie are in development. Other rumors have suggested that a Black Panther and Inhumans movie are in the works. However, SchmoesKnow has revealed a list of movies that their source says are definitely part of Marvel Studios Phase 3. According to their source, the only movies absolutely certain for Phase 3 at this point are Ant-Man, Captain America 3, Thor 3, The Avengers 3 and Dr. Strange. Just to back up this report, those are the five movies that we have also heard are definite for Phase 3. Of course, Ant-Man already has a confirmed release date, and Avengers 3 has already been announced (with no release date). Marvel has also already directly confirmed Thor 3 by announcing Craig Kyle as a co-writer of the screenplay, and Captain America 3 has been pretty much confirmed by the trade press. Dr. Strange is the only one on the list that some might call into question, but we've heard from multiple sources that it is definitely part of Phase 3. This isn't to say that there might not be other films that eventually emerge as part of Phase 3, but the five films that SchmoesKnow listed are also the five that we have heard as definite. This doesn't mean the other reports are wrong. It's very possible that Marvel Studios plans could have changed recently. Also, we wouldn't discount that Marvel Studios has done some development work on another Hulk solo movie, Black Panther, Black Widow, and Inhumans. And it's always possible one or more of those films or something else completely different could eventually make it into Phase 3.
