Godzilla: New Toy Provides A Good Look At The Monster

Jakks Pacific has revealed (via MTV) their new "Giant" Godzilla toy, based on the upcoming film from Warner Bros. and Legendary. The toy provides possibly the best look at the new Godzilla design that we've seen so far. The figure is two feet tall and 43" long, with a swinging tail and an opening and closing jaw. His frame seems a little broader than the original Godzilla's, but he's still much closer to the original than the last American movie version of the monster. The figure will be available later this week at Toys R' Us. MSRP is $44.99. It will be available at other retail outlets when the film comes to theaters. In Godzilla, an ancient colossal creature is accidentally awakened by mankind, and seemingly leaves nothing but destruction in its wake, as its presence becomes known to the world. Godzilla comes to theaters May 16, 2014.
