Avengers: Age of Ultron

During the Marvel Studios panel at 2014 San Diego Comic-Con International, Marvel Studios President of Production Kevin Feige introduced the cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Director Joss Whedon was not in attendance, because he is recovering from knee surgery in London.

After mentioning Whedon's plight, Feige said, "However, there are some other people, who have come from various far flung locales to say hello to you." Then, Feige introduced Robert Downey Downey, Jr., who brought a suitcase full of roses to the stage and flung the roses into the crowd, before taking a bow.

After Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Elizabeth Olsen were introduced to the stage, as a Michael Jackson played in the background.

"It just keeps getting better," said Robert Downey Jr. "And I'm so excited that we're all here. This is the longest bench of talent that I've ever been a part of. And we've got a real nice movie coming up for you guys next year."

Unfortunately, the Avengers: Age of Ultron footage is not part of the panel video, as cameras had to be turned off in Hall H when the footage aired, but you can read a description of the footage here. However, there is a very cool segment at the end where Josh Brolin enters the stage, wearing the Infinity Guantlet and demanding a rose from Robert Downey Jr.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on May 1, 2015.
