Samuel L. Jackson is used to being in the company of superheroes, but now he gets to be one again in Incredibles 2.

Nick Fury is expected to return to Marvel's universe soon as well in Avengers: Infinity War, as well as an appearance in some form or fashion in the upcoming Captain Marvel.
As for Incredibles 2, director Brad Bird revealed that Elastigirl would be getting more of a spotlight this time around. He also teased plenty of new characters.
"The whole world of Incredibles 2 is gonna be greatly expanded upon," Bird said, introducing an image of a hydra liner cruise-looking ship and a slew of super hero illustrations. "We'll be seeing a lot more of Elastagirl," with a chain of events putting her at the forefront of the film's plot.
