Fans of The Walking Dead hoping to find out secrets from the upcoming seventh season or just looking for a glimpse of their favorite actors are not getting what they're looking for. Instead, they're heading to jail.

On Sunday night, five fans of the AMC series hiked onto private propety for several hours hoping to see a location used all the way back in the second season. Homeowners told police that they saw the individuals walking out of the woods snapping pictures on their phones.

The five fans acknowledged the fact that they saw numerous "no trespassing" signs posted around the property but told deputies they assumed the property was abandoned. They ranged in ages from 18 to 25.

Though this incident occurred on a former and no longer current set for the show, rumor has it that fans trying to sneak a peek at the current season's production will be handled the same way.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October.
