ReedPOP announced on Thursday that New York Comic Con will expand its event beyond the doors of the Javitz Center in New York City and host events in Madison Square Garden for some of the biggest names in attendance.

Fans with New York Comic Con badges will be able to attend events at MSG from BBC America, AMC, and more major networks.

The weekend of off-site NYCC Programming begins Friday, October 7 with a Doctor Who panel block, featuring Peter Capaldi in his NYCC debut and the first ever fan appearance by his co-star Pearl Mackie. Both will be joined by the showrunner and executive producer.

Also from BBC America, ahead of its October 22 premiere, the new series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency will screen its first episode. Afterwards, a panel with the cast, showrunner, writer and executive producer will take place. Finally, a panel with the cast, executive producer and creator of BBCA's new Doctor Who spin-off series Class will conclude the day at the Garden.

On Saturday, October 8, AMC's The Walking Dead will take over in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Cast members and producers will be on hand to discuss the astounding cliffhanger we were left with in Season 6, as well as offering up a sneak peek into Season 7.

With a trailer having been released at San Diego Comic Con in July, it will be interesting what Greg Nicotero, Scott Gimple, Robert Kirkman and the team behind The Walking Dead have up their sleeve. At this point, there is only so much more they can show without spoiling the summer's big mystery.

Additional events and panels will take place at Madison Square Garden throughout New York Comic Con but have yet to be announced.

New York Comic Con takes place from Octover 6 to October 9.
