There's been a lot of news surrounding former WWE superstar Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac, and now that things have been revealed he's speaking out about his insane ordeal.
X-Pac's name was making the rounds on social media after he didn't show up for a contracted engagement, and none of his friends or family had heard from him. It turns out he was in jail for supposedly trying to smuggle meth through LAX. Waltman spoke to TMZ about the ordeal and says it is not what it looks like.
"What they say was methamphetamine was actually, I've had a yeast infection believe it or not for the better part of a year, and I had some Candida cleanse capsules that I got from Vitamin World, uh, and apparently the meth fairy came and turned them into crystal meth. That's the story man." TMZ pushed for more, with Waltman replying "Listen, with my past, I can totally understand anybody rolling their eyes at my story, but, once the lab work comes back this should be all cleared up, but in the meantime, oh what a mess man."
As to why those Candida Cleanse pills turned into meth, that falls to some overeager law enforcement, according to Waltman. "That was the only way they could get me to take me otherwise they would have to let me go, and they were, well this one guy was not going to have that, it wasn't going to happen. Now whether they actually really think that there was a meth-like substance in there, ya know, or whether they were trying to stick it to me, who knows."
When asked if there was any meth in those pills, Waltman said: "Only if they put it in there." Waltman knows he has a checkered past, saying "I was one of the worst meth heads ever Mike, so here's the thing. If I was back doing that, there's no way I would have the life I have right now. My life is amazing! This is just a hiccup
Hopefully, things will get sorted out once the lab results come through.
