Man Of Steel: Fishburne Says No Sequel Deal Yet

While Warner Bros. has put out very little promotional material for Man of Steel to date, there is enormous buzz among the media about the highly-anticipated Superman reboot. Whenever an actor or actress from Man of Steel is out promoting another movie, they should count on getting one or more press questions about the Man of Steel. While promoting the post-apocalyptic movie The Colony, Laurence Fishburne, who plays Perry White in Man of Steel, was asked by Canoe.ca if he had signed on for a Man of Steel sequel yet. Fishburne said, "No, not yet, not yet, not yet. I mean, we have to see how the film's gonna do, right?" Fishburne also added, "It's a much bigger canvas than that. My particular colour on the canvas is minimal. It's really an origin story, Man of Steel … the focus is his origins." Man of Steel is scheduled to be released in movie theaters in the United States on June 14, 2013.
