With John Cena now set to challenge AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble on January 29, the WWE may be changing it's mind on The Undertaker's Wrestlemania plans.

Until the last few weeks, the biggest rumor that has been circulating was that John Cena and The Undertaker were on a collision course for Mania. However, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is now reporthing that while Cena is still being considered as the best play, Vince McMahon is considering pairing Taker with Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33.

According to the rumor, the WWE is thinking of going with Reigns because they feel he is the future of the company and would benefit the most from having Taker pass the torch to him. Reigns' other rumored Mania opponent had been Braun Strowman, who many have considered a favorite to win the Rumble.

Whether Taker faces Reigns or Cena, both rumors lead us to believe The Undertaker could be a strong choice to win the Royal Rumble and have his choice of either the RAW or Smackdown champion.

While most fans have already grown sour on Roman's push over the last few years, a match with the beloved WWE legend would certainly put the crowd firmly against him in Orlando. Many believe this could be Taker's last Mania as he reportedly told Vince he was done after last year's bout with Shane McMahon.

If this is the Deadman's final go, who would you like to see him face on the Grandest Stage of Them All?
