The Walking Dead's Emily Kinney Says There's A Growing Connection Between Daryl And Beth

One of the biggest questions on The Walking Dead has been whether Daryl Dixon will make a romantic connection with anyone on the show. In the past, Daryl seemed to be forming some type of relationship with Carol, but after the group got split up, Daryl got paired up with Beth Greene.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Emily Kinney teased her character Beth's connection with Daryl.

"I would say last season what you saw, there's definitely a connection, and a connection that's growing. And they care about each other a lot, and so there's definitely something really special there," said Kinney.

As far as if that connection would bloom into romance in Season 5, Kinney said, "I don't know. You have to wait and find out."

If there is a chance at romance for Daryl and Beth, it will also likely be a while, as Kinney confirmed that Beth will be isolated from the rest of the group for the first half of Season 5.

Kinney said, "It's kind of like Beth, I am sort of isolated. All this stuff this season is really exciting and really awesome and I'm having a blast, but like last season, we were separated."

The Walking Dead Season 5 premieres on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
