The filmmaker has been battling a weight problem for most of his life, but through hard work and determination he was able to shed the pounds.

I'm not sure what inspired Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats), but something lit a fire under his chubby butt. He shared a side-by-side photo comparison showing off how much weight he's lost recently.

Now that he has had shed the pounds it only seems fitting that he should shed some of those unflattering nicknames like "Fat Man," "Lunch Box" and "Dump Truck." When we view him on AMC's Comic Book Men next season we'll have to refer to him as the "Good-Looking One." Sorry Ming, you've been replaced!
