Director Bryan Singer and screenwriter Simon Kinberg made a pact: If Days of Future Past made over $700M they would get X-Men-related tattoos. Days of Future Past ended up grossing $748M at the worldwide box office, easily eclipsing 2006's The Last Stand, which had the franchise record with $459.4M.

Being a man of his word, Singer visited a tattoo parlor to get the Cerebro helmet inked to his calf (not bum as MTV reported). Sir Patrick Stewart, who played Charles Xavier in the X-Men films, came along for moral support (didn't ink Singer as MTV reported). He also chewed out Kinberg, who at that time, had not held up to his end of the bargain.

"Where the f*&% are you, and where is your tattoo, Kinberg?," Stewart shouted.

Getting my X-Tattoo with @sirpatstew witnessing midnight. Thanks @SSC_Tattoo & @Louie_perez_3_SSC
