Krang Confirmed For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

During a new Rolling Stone interview, filmmaker Michael Bay has seemingly confirmed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will feature Krang.

The character, who looks like a disembodied brain with tentacles and who usually lives inside of a robot body, is one of the most notorious villains from the animated series, but one who hasn't appeared in a theatrical feature film yet.

Here's the pertinent bit of the article:

They start with Ninja Turtles animation. Pablo Helman, a visual-effects supervisor who worked on the Star Wars prequels, appears onscreen and shows Bay the latest version of Krang, a new-to-the-movies villain who is, essentially, a disembodied brain inside a giant robot. "So we've eliminated the tentacles," Helman explains. "Is it too monster-ish?"

"He could have some tentacles," says Bay. "I just don't want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus."

Krang isn't the only strange creature heading to the big screen for the TMNT sequel: Rocksteady and Bebop are also coming, as seen in the film's first trailer.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows comes to theaters June 3, 2016.

  1. Does anyone really think that they would drastically change the turtles appearance from one movie to the next? They picked up a new shredder and now have added Bebop Rocksteady and Krang. I'm so sick of the complaining. Theres nothing you can do about it so either enjoy it like I will or just STFU about it already.

  2. Yours is literally the only comment to this post, dude. Seems like you need to get the voices in your head under control, because if they're not the ones complaining then you're just pissing into the wind here.

  3. Good news
