Arnold Schwarzenegger Cast In Why We're Killing Gunther

Saturday Night Live veteran and comic book wroter Taran Killam has added Arnold Schwarzenegger to his upcoming comedy Why We're Killing Gunther, Variety reports.

Killam's wife Cobie Smulders, who appears in Marvel's Avengers franchise and headlined a decade of How I Met Your Mother, will also appear in the film, as will SNL's Bobby Moynihan.

Variety says Schwarzenegger will play the title character, an arrogant hitman who is prone to stealing other people's jobs.

"The assassin community is tired of him and a group of eccentric killers from across the globe come together to set the perfect trap, but their master plan quickly turns into a series of embarrassing fails as Gunther always appears one step ahead," the story says.

Principal photography on the film is set to begin next month.
