Lupita Nyong'o has a great relationship with Disney. The actress is currently filming Star Wars: Episode VIII where she reprises her role as Maz Kanata. She also appears in live-action in Queen of Katwe out in September 2016, and is currently in theaters in The Jungle Book as the voice of the Wolf-mother Raksha.

What's left for the in-demand and Oscar-winning actress at Disney then? Marvel Studios, of course. Well, that may be her next stop as she's currently in talks for a role in Black Panther according to a new report by THR. She would star opposite Chadwick Boseman, who is playing the titular character after introducing him in Captain America: Civil War, and her character would reportedly be romantically linked to the lead.

Black Panther will hit theaters February 2, 2018, and will start shooting in early 2017, directed by Ryan Coogler, who is also writing the film. Assuming Boseman's character is included, he may be on the set for Avengers: Infinity War for a few months first, as that film starts principal photography in November 2016.
