Fox has announced fall premiere dates for their upcoming slate of shows, which includes season three of Gotham and season two of Lucifer.

Both Gotham and Lucifer will return to television on Monday, September 19th, and both promise big things in store for fans. Here is the official description for both shows courtesy of Fox.

"On Season Three of Gotham (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), the origin story continues and the stakes are higher than ever, as Super-Villains more ambitious and depraved are introduced, and a realignment of alliances shakes up the fight for power in Gotham City."

"Season Two of Lucifer (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) promises to be a mother of a season, as Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is tasked with finding his family's matriarch, while continuing to take down criminals alongside LAPD Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German)."

Fox also released premiere dates for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, and Scream Queens (Tuesday, September 20th), as well as new series Lethal Weapon and Empire (Wednesday, September 21st). On Thursday, September 22nd, fans can tune into Rosewood and new series Pitch, and Friday, September 23rd will see the return of Hell's Kitchen and new drama The Exorcist.

Fox also announced the return of their Sunday Funday lineup, which will include the return of both Bob's Burgers and The Simpsons, a new hybrid live-action/animated comedy titled Son of Zorn, and will round things out with Family Guy and The Last Man on Earth. These shows will premiere on Sunday, September 25th.
