You know what's nice to see? Batman being happy for once. Gotham's famous vigilante is often mocked for his depressing outlooks. The reputation only got worse for the character once Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released. Not only was the film slammed by many fans, but an interview released by Yahoo Movies! went viral because of Ben Affleck's solemn expression. But, oh, how the tables have turned! Earlier today, Clay Enos uploaded a photo of the actor on-set in his armored suit, smiling widely as if Bruce Wayne's parents hadn't died.

Oh, too soon?

The photographer uploaded the picture to his Instagram profile, indicating that it shows, "Zack, Ben, and Chris smiling on set." And, yup, those guys are all smiles in the picture. With Ben situated between the two other crew members, fans can easily see the hero's bright smile despite the photo's far-out framing. Zooming in only reveals Ben's smile to be one of pure and honest happiness. Really, it's actually kind of infectious.

Clearly, the difference between Ben's expression in Enos' recent upload and the now-infamous Yahoo! interview is staggering. As the film's cast has talked openly about how they enjoyed shooting Batman v Superman, it's sort of a bummer to know Ben's excitement over the project crashed hard after reviews started coming in.

With the DCEU set to expand soon enough with future installments like The Justice League, Ben's stint with DC Comics and Warner Bros. is by no means over. The actor is also signed on to direct an upcoming Batman film, so hopefully, fans will get to see more 'Happy Batman' photos like this one posted online in the future.

After all, I'm sure the actor would like to avoid another #SadBenAffleck hashtag. Honestly, that whole meme was about as brutal as it was hilarious.
