When The CW debuted in September 2006, the network couldn't have known it would one day house some of the world's most famous superheroes - but that is what happened. Series like Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow all call The CW home, and this fall mark the return of those shows to cable television. And, now, a new behind-the-scenes trailer for The CW is showing off the network's all-star talent.

A featurette was uploaded to Youtube this weekend that shows of The CW's many superheroes. The clip shows off actors like Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin as they do photoshoots for their respective roles of Oliver Queen and Barry Allen. The pair are joined by the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow who are seen teaming up with Supergirl, hinting at the network's impending crossover special this fall. Fans can also see two particularly geeky characters in the reel as Felicity Smoak and Cisco Ramon are seen working together behind a hi-tech computer interface.

Of course, this clip isn't the first The CW has released which shows off its impressive cast. Recently, the network uploaded a video titled "Superhero Fight Club 2.0" that features a hilarious encounter between The Flash, Supergirl, and Green Arrow. The actors rib off one another, making all kinds of meta-jokes that The CW thrives off. A slew of supporting characters are also seen in the clip, and Diggle's reaction to Martian Manhunter is definitely one for the books. Poor guy.

Another supporting character named Curtis Holt can also be seen, and actor Curtis Holt recently told ComicBook.com that he thinks Team Arrow gets their work done in the upcoming crossover.

"I definitely think we are handling our Arrow business and still doing this crossover," Kellum explained. "I think that's a good thing, especially for this magnitude of an episode. I know that the last few crossovers were helping set-up other shows, but there's no element of that here. Every show here is an already-established show. If you're doing a crossover to help setup Legends of Tomorrow then, logically, you're going to have to spend some time dealing with these new characters who are coming in, because if you don't then you're doing a disservice to that new show."

The actor's confident words are definitely impressive when you consider who the superheroes will be facing in the crossover. The CW has confirmed The Dominators will be the special's main villain.

If you're unfamiliar with the foes, then you should know the giant yellow aliens are none to pleased with Earth. The beings debuted in Invasion! from the 1980s. Tired of Earth's never-ending crises, The Dominators aggressively invade the planet and attempt to 'stabilize' humanity by force.

"This year, for our mega 'Arrowverse' crossover, we're taking inspiration from a DC crossover from the late 1980s known as Invasion!, which featured an alien race called the Dominators, who'd previously vexed the Legion of Superheroes," said Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim. "We're using cutting edge prosthetics and computer effects to achieve a feature film-quality look which is faithful to Invasion! artist Todd McFarlane's interpretation of the characters."

Supergirl airs on Mondays at 8 p.m.; The Flash on Tuesdays at the same time, Arrow on Wednesdays, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow on Thursdays. The Flash will debut its new episodes on The CW starting October 4; Arrow on October 5; Supergirl on October 10; and DC's Legends of Tomorrow on October 13.
