The Rock Confirms When Fate Of The Furious Trailer Will Air During Super Bowl

The Super Bowl seems to become less and less about the game and more about everything else surrounding it, and that won't be any different this year. Studios are going all in to advertise their upcoming films, and that will include Universal's The Fate of the Furious.
Many suspected a new trailer would pop up at the annual gridiron event, but The Rock has not only confirmed it's coming but has also confirmed when. He took to Instagram to post a new shot from the film with the quote "For him it's family, for me, it's personal." His caption read "Just watched our trailer that'll air during the SUPER BOWL.🔥 Very strong. Universal did a tremendous job and during the 2nd quarter, you'll see for yourself. Get your popcorn ready... 'cause daddy's gotta go to work. #FateOfTheFurious #SuperBowl51."
So regardless of whether you're a Patriots or Falcons fan, at least you know not to take a bathroom break in the second quarter, at least until you've seen the trailer.

For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar winner Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell, and Diesel.
