There are a lot of great games that are out this week, but one gem that shouldn't be overlooked is Rime, the new adventure game developed by Tequila Works and published by Grey Box and Six Foot. We previewed it earlier this year, talking about its grand scope of adventure and its intricate puzzles. Good news – it's almost here!

The game will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC tomorrow, with a release on Nintendo Switch to follow later this summer. To celebrate its release, the publishers have revealed a new trailer, which you can view below.

Rime has actually been in development for some time, originally starting as an exclusive for PlayStation 4 under Sony. However, last year, Tequila Works opted to work on it themselves, and teamed up with the publishers Grey Box and Six Foot to release it for other platforms.

Here's an official overview, if you need a reminder of what the game's all about:

RiME is a single-player puzzle adventure game about discovery, experienced through the eyes of a young boy who awakens on a mysterious island after shipwrecking off its coast. Players must navigate the island's secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time. Inspired by the rugged, sunbaked terrain of the Mediterranean coast, RiME paints its breathtaking world with a fusion of vibrant colours and moving musical undertones to set the stage for the deeply personal journey that awaits within.

The game will be available for $29.99, which is a fairly good value for those that love adventure games. We really enjoyed what we played thus far, and the full game should offer plenty of treats for those that enjoy exploring open worlds and solving puzzles within them.

As for the Switch release, it doesn't have a date just yet, but we'll keep you informed when it's ready to arrive. Hopefully it won't be too far off, because a game like this would be perfect for that system's collection.

Enjoy the trailer, and look for our review of Rime over the next few days! It's sure to be an unforgettable adventure for a lot of you.
